What exactly is a credit?
A credit is simply what Marcus spends to get a task done — the bigger the job, the more it uses. As a rough guide, a quick task runs 50–150 credits, a multi-step workflow 250–750, and a full project 1,000–2,500. Your plan is one shared monthly pool, so you spend it however your team works.
Is the free credit really free? Do I need a card?
Yes, genuinely free. You start with £100 in credits — every feature and every integration unlocked — with no credit card and no sales call. That's enough for roughly 200 quick tasks, so you can put Marcus on real work before you ever decide to pay.
Are credits shared across my team, or charged per person?
Credits are a shared workspace pool — everyone on your team draws from the same monthly balance. There are no per-seat fees, so you can add as many teammates as you like and only pay for the credits you actually use.
Do unused credits roll over?
Yes. Any credits you don't use stay in your balance and carry over to the next month — they don't expire, and there's no cap. A quiet week is never wasted.
What happens if I run out before the month ends?
No surprise charges, ever. If you're running low, just move up to a bigger monthly pack in a couple of clicks — your extra credits are available straight away. You're only ever billed for the plan you choose.
Can I change or cancel my plan anytime?
